Castle Rock Estate

Named after a prominent nearby landmark, Castle Rock Estate is nestled on the eastern slopes of the Porongurup mountains. The winery has been built in a way that makes use of the natural slope of the land with wine moved via gravity. Not only is this a more sustainable process, but gentler on the wine thus retaining quality.

Castle Rock Estate is actively reducing their carbon footprint; their winery is solar powered, all wastewater is treated with a 100% solar powered pond aerator, they utilise only rain water and use no pesticides or insecticides. Winemaker Rob Diletti prefers to facilitate the natural balance of the vineyard; this allows for a healthy and strong microcosm.
